(Review) : Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick #525 Peachy Scene

Hello Everyone..

First of all I want to say Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it. I'm sorry because this month is not very productive month for me. I just celebrate Christmas at my parents home, with my parents, hubby, twin, sister, brother and brother in law. Actually I'm too lazy to write anything right now. ^^
Today I will share about my new lip product. It is Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick #525 Peachy Scene. Peachy scene is pinky-coral with slight hint of peach with a frosty finish.

Apply your lipcolor by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.

Packaging

The packaging is silver tube with a red transparent plastic cap. It's sturdy enough and the cap fits securely on to the tube, so you don't have to worry the cap will detach. It also travel friendly and easy to bring everyday.

OVERALL

Although the name its Peachy Scene, the color more to soft pink than peach. You can see the color of the lipstick from the bottom of the lipstick tube. I think it suites well for everyday natural look.
When I applied the lipstick, it also have really sweet (candy/cake) scent. Personally, I don't mind it really, but for some people who doesn't like the cosmetic with certain scent it maybe bothering them. The scent however fades quickly once applied onto your lips.
It has creamy texture, glide smoothly on my lips and it has frosty finish. However, the frosty finish is not really that overpowering, and it doesn't bother me. But if you have dry lips or fine lines, it can show it obviously. So make sure you use lipbalm before using the lipstick.
The lipstick last for several hours, maybe around 3 hours without eating or drinking.

Twin 3rd Birthday Party

Hello Everyone..

Sorry for this very2 late new post, I'm too busy preparing my twin birthday party on 8 December 2014. So December is my favorite month, because my twin birthday and christmas is coming soon. Personally I love birthday party, when I was child my parents also celebrate my birthday with big party. The 1st & 2nd twin birthday party is not success, so sad to remembered that. On 1st birthday party they fall asleep until the party is over, and on 2nd birthday party they got angry and fussy because the party just start at they sleep hour. -__-

Okay lets stop the chit chat and move to detailed about twin 3rd birthday party. So this year I decided not to celebrate the birthday with big party, just celebrate at home with us (hubby & me). I also make the dessert table on my own, except for the birthday cakes and cupcakes, I hope next birthday I can make it myself. I make the birthday and twin name flag banner, food and drink labels, cupcake topper, paper rosette for the backdrop and paper bag just for decoration.

I don't have special theme just using twin favorite color which is blue and red. This is my very first dessert table so forgive me if it just too simple. I prepared it just around a month before, I make it every time I have some spare time. 

The table is too small for the dessert table, I should use the longer and taller table. But it's urgent you know. I don't have a time to find another table before the birthday. I will prepare better dessert table next year. ^^

This is the birthday cake, the base is layer cake with strawberry jam covered with fondant. It have blue and red color, the twin favorite color. It decorated with 2 boys with plane and car behind them. If you look carefully at the cake you will notice the cake is tilt to the side like Pisa Tower. ^__^

But I can't complain because I don't make the cake and I buy it quite expensive. I have to quite satisfied with the result as long the cake not wrecked. I hope next year I can make the birthday cake on my own, I still learning right now.  

The birthday and twin name flag banner made with Microsoft Powerpoint. You also can make it with Adobe Photoshop or Corel. I'm just using the easy and simple tool. I made the birthday flag banner with triangle shape and the twin name with round shape. After I print it, just attached it with some white ribbon.

The cupcake topper, milk label, chocolate label, food and drink label I made online at Picmonkey. It is free online photo editing. Editing your photos is easy with Picmonkey. Add filters, frames, text and effects with this free online editing tool.

The paper rosette made from hard paper with blue and red color. For the large paper rosette I use 4 pieces of paper fold horisontally, the medium use 3 pieces of paper fold vertically and the smallest use 3 pieces of half paper fold vertically. This the most tiring job for me because I have to fold the paper then attach the paper with glue.

 This is the birthday boy. Happy 3rd Birthday My Twin, Raphael Christian Prastyo & Gabriel Christian Prastyo. May your birthday be filled with everything happy and everything you've ever dreamed! Mommy & Daddy love both of you to the moon & back. Lots of loves, hugs and kisses.

(Review) : Mustika Ratu Pembersih & Penyegar Sari Jeruk Nipis / Lemon Lime Cleansing Milk & Face Toner

Cleaning the makeup is a must to do everyday and every time you put on makeup. I already told you about how I clean my eyes and lip makeup. You can read the review in here. Today I want to share about the product I usually use to clean my face makeup. It is Mustika Ratu Pembersih & Penyegar Sari Jeruk Nipis / Lemon Lime Cleansing Milk & Lemon Lime Face Toner. Sleeping with your make up is the biggest beauty mistake. Just using facial cleanser to remove your make up is not enough, because some make up are not easy to remove. So make sure to use makeup cleanser than wash your face with facial cleanser.

Mustika Ratu is local product made in Indonesia. Mustika Ratu Pembersih & Penyegar Sari Jeruk Nipis / Lemon Lime Cleansing Milk & Lemon Lime Face Toner is for oily and problem skin. It have slender bottle and the centre of the bottle is curved like woman body, it easy to grab. The bottle cap is pretty tight screw, I don't have to worry it's gonna spill.

How to Use :

Apply onto face and neck with gentle massage, wipe it off with tissue/cotton. Use Lemon Lime Face Toner afterwards.

As you can see on my pictures, I apply several makeup products. The first time I apply cleansing milk then I wipe with cotton, some makeup is still left on the skin. So I apply again the cleansing milk followed by face toner and my skin is clean from makeup. It gives cool and fresh feeling too. 

The pair of these cleansing milk and face toner wipes away my makeup in a good cleansing performance. I don't have to rub it intensely, just light swipe. It can remove my makeup pretty well. 

It contains Citrus and Witch Hazel which is suitable for those who have super oily skin or oily combination like me. It also manages to keep pimples away from me.

(Review) : Maybelline Volum' Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes Waterproof Mascara

Good afternoon all..

Mascara is one of most important thing for woman. With mascara we can get thick and tapering eyelashes. I have a straight-down lashes so using mascara will help my lashes looks more obvious. Today I will review about one of my favorite mascara which is Maybelline Volum' Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes Mascara. I love Maybelline product because it gives good result and the price is quite affordable. 

Maybelline Volum' Express Hypercurl Cat Eyes Mascara :

The packaging is beautiful metallic pink with black zebra print on the tube. It have slimmer package than the other Maybelline mascara. It is fit on your hands and easy to bring everyday. 

It's have Feline black color. I'm never found another color. Maybe it's just have one shade.

It has different brush. Well, instead the usual mascara brush, it has a spiky comb. The comb is amazing. I can sweep the mascara from base up to the root. It also helps separating my lashes. It gives your lashes instant thickness. Your lashes will look thicker and longer.

I love this mascara, it can make my lashes looks more obvious. The mascara is definitely waterproof, it never melted or smudged even in Indonesian heat. I would stay it can last for around 10 hours (that's the maximum I've worn it for). It pretty much look and stayed the same. Even if I wash my face with water it will not fade.
After apply on my lashes, it dries quickly and not easily fade away. It helps lengthen the lashes and it complement eyelash curlers. As the brush is a spiky comb, it can reaching the inner corner of my lashes.
The price is more expensive than the other Maybelline mascara. I don't remember the right price.
But it does clump a little if I go beyond two coats (just like other mascaras).

Overall, I think this mascara is great product. This is a product that really does what is claims. It very affordable too and very easy to use for make up newbie.

(Review) : Maybelline Make Up Remover Eye & Lip

Good morning all..

Removing your make up is must to do everyday. Sleeping with your make up is the biggest beauty mistake. Just using facial cleanser to remove your make up is not enough, because some make up are not easy to remove. I used to be very lazy to clean my make up especially when I'm so tired, but then I got an acne problem. It's a nightmare, I'm still trying to recover my skin from the acne scars. So make sure to use a good make up remover first then cleanse your face with facial cleanser.

Today I will review about my eye and lip cleanser which is Maybelline Make Up Remover Eye & Lip. This is not a new product, maybe you already read the review in other beauty blogger but I just want to share my experience using this. I already using this for a long times.

Maybelline Make Up Remover Eye & Lip :

• Efficient & Easy : This formula instantly removes all eyes and lip make up, even waterproof and non-transfer.
• Gentle : Formulated for sensitive eyes, it is especially very gentle for the delicate skin around eyes

The packaging comes in cute little bottle which have blue and transparent color. The blue liquid is oil and the transparent liquid is the base.

You have to shake the bottle to mix the two liquid to make the remover work. 

When applied it has like oil texture but it is absolutely oil free and doesn't feel sticky on the skin.  This is a fragrance free and gentle make up remover which has never irritated my eyes or my lips. It is able to wipe off my lipsticks in one swipe but it does takes time to removing my eyeliners. It takes me three swipes to remove my eyeliners.

I would say it's not a one swipe make up remover. It does take about 3-4 swipes to remove the make up completely but the important thing is this remover is very gentle. Sometimes when I remove my eyes make up, it gets into my eyes but it doesn't burn or get blurred vision or anything. That's why I keep repurchasing this.
