(Review) : E.L.F. Studio Eyebrow Kit #Medium

Hello everyone..

Eyebrow is one of my most important thing. I don't lucky to have perfect eyebrow like some people. So everyday I have to fill my eyebrow to look better even when I don't put any makeup. Usually when I'm in a hurry I just using eyebrow pencil because its easier and faster. But today I will review about eyebrow kit from E.L.F. I use this product when I have more time. I'm not perfect when draw my eyebrow, I'm still learning to do it perfectly. This eyebrow kit comes in 4 different color which is : Ash, Light, Medium and Dark. I have dark eyebrow and dark hair but I choose the medium shade to make my eyebrow look lighter than the real color.

PACKAGING :

The package is sturdy and sleek. It is made from plastic with black color. It comes with small mirror and dual brush applicator (angled brush and blending brush). It have small size so it is such a handy product to bring in my makeup bag. The mirror and brush is very handy when you have to reapply the product.

DIRECTIONS :

* Use the angled brush to apply the pigmented brow gel to define and shape the brows. 

* Set the color in place with the brow powder using the blending brush for a natural finished look.

SHADES :

As you can see it comes with two different shades. The darker color are the pigmented wax / gel and the lighter color are the complementing setting powder. The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The double sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look.

SWATCHES :

These are the swatches, the brow gel is pretty smooth as it goes on my eyebrows and the brow powder is pretty chalky. I didn't notice any major fall-out, but this is not going to be like  high end eyebrow product. However, when used after the brow gel I don't have any issues.

OVERALL :

I love the product so I recommend this product to everyone. It perfect for everyday natural finish eyebrow look. The brow gel can be a good framing color and the brow powder is a great filling color. It last around 8 hours (for me), I apply on the morning before going to work and still last after work. The price is affordable too. But it takes longer to apply than eyebrow pencil especially if you're not familiar using the brow wax and powder.

(Review) : Wardah Everyday Luminous Liquid Foundation #02 Light Beige

Hello Everyone..

So for everyday makeup I rarely using foundation. I prefer use BB Cream or CC Cream for daily appearance. I just using foundation for special occasion like a party. But this foundation from Wardah which is Wardah Everyday Luminous Liquid Foundation makes me interested because it's claim have light formula and can use everyday. Wardah is local product from Indonesia. 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :

This is the liquid foundation with sunscreen complex for UV protection. Helps to even outs skin tone and cover imperfections. Non-sticky, comfortable, and light texture for daily use. Easily applied in 4 natural shades which is Natural White, Light Beige, Beige and Natural. Suitable for oily skin. 

PRODUCT DETAIL :

DIRECTIONS :

Apply to your face & blending quickly with fingertips. Don't rub.

PACKAGING :

The package is plastic bottle with screw cap. To open and get the liquid foundation out, simply twist the cap and squeeze it onto the back on your hand. It have tiny hole to let the foundation out so it quite clean.

TEXTURE :

The texture is very light and creamy. It not sticky when applied on your skin and blends easily. But it have some strong powdery scent which quite disturbing me.

COVERAGE :

I choose the Light Beige shades because I think it suites well with my skin tone. As you can see on my face, I have many red patches (this photo was taken when my skin condition is quite bad). With one layer of the foundation it can cover some of the red patches. But it can't cover all of my skin problem like acne and acne scar. So the concealer is needed. My skin looks a little smooth and bright. This foundation don't gives any breakout to my skin after I using it so I love it. The staying power for me just around 4 hours.

OVERALL :

It have light texture, non sticky and blends easily. It can gives natural matte finish and glowing skin especially if you have smooth and clear skin. The price is very affordable and it very easy to get too. You can buy at big supermarket or small shop near your neighborhood.

(Review) : Maybelline Color Show Lipstick #205 Red Siren

Hi Beauty..

How are everyone in this new year? I hope this year will be better than last year and all of my wish will come true. I'm a lippie person, so I have more lip product than other make up. So today I will review about lipstick from Maybelline which is Maybelline Color Show Lipstick #205 Red Siren. Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is a fashionable intense lipstick, which comes in chic to vivid shades. Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is highly pigmented giving bold lips. This is my first red lipstick, I'm usually just buy pink or peach lipstick. I love natural make up, but this time I want to try something more bold make up with red lipstick.

PACKAGING :
The package is simple nice looking. It is made from black glossy plastick with red ornament on the body and bottom of the package. The color of ornament is show the color of the lipstick. The red listick will have red ornament, pink lipstick will have pink ornament, plum lipstick have purple ornament and so on. The new lipstick have plastick wrap with Maybelline Color Show text on it, if we open it the lipstick will be naked.

SHADE :

Red siren is bright red shade with orange undertone. This is not the kind of lipstick I will use for everyday but I think it will look perfect for night out. It have great pigmentation. Just one swipe is enough to give you nice coverage. With two or three swipes you get full opaque coverage.

STAYING POWER :
Maybelline Lipstick Red Siren stayed on me for 3 to 4 hours. If you eating or drinking anything, you definitely need a touch up. It does leave a mild stain on the lips. 

TEXTURE :
The lipstick is really moisturizing. It glides well on the lips and the texture is quite creamy and soft. The smell is amazing just like bubblegum scent, I love it.

POTD :

So this is my picture using the lipstick. What do you think? ^^

OVERALL :

It makes my lips feel moisturized and it have glossy finish. The pigmentation is good and the staying power is quite nice too. It has no shimmer, creamy, glides weel on the lips and doesn't settle on the fine lines. The price is very affordable too. It fade off when you drinking or eating, but you can touch up again, right? It think it suites weel for all skin tones too, so if you have light or dark skin tone you must try this lipstick.

(Review) : Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick #525 Peachy Scene

First of all I want to say Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it. I'm sorry because this month is not very productive month for me. I just celebrate Christmas at my parents home, with my parents, hubby, twin, sister, brother and brother in law. Actually I'm too lazy to write anything right now. ^^
Today I will share about my new lip product. It is Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick #525 Peachy Scene. Peachy scene is pinky-coral with slight hint of peach with a frosty finish.

OVERALL

Although the name its Peachy Scene, the color more to soft pink than peach. You can see the color of the lipstick from the bottom of the lipstick tube. I think it suites well for everyday natural look.
When I applied the lipstick, it also have really sweet (candy/cake) scent. Personally, I don't mind it really, but for some people who doesn't like the cosmetic with certain scent it maybe bothering them. The scent however fades quickly once applied onto your lips.
It has creamy texture, glide smoothly on my lips and it has frosty finish. However, the frosty finish is not really that overpowering, and it doesn't bother me. But if you have dry lips or fine lines, it can show it obviously. So make sure you use lipbalm before using the lipstick.
The lipstick last for several hours, maybe around 3 hours without eating or drinking.

Twin 3rd Birthday Party

Hello Everyone..

Sorry for this very2 late new post, I'm too busy preparing my twin birthday party on 8 December 2014. So December is my favorite month, because my twin birthday and christmas is coming soon. Personally I love birthday party, when I was child my parents also celebrate my birthday with big party. The 1st & 2nd twin birthday party is not success, so sad to remembered that. On 1st birthday party they fall asleep until the party is over, and on 2nd birthday party they got angry and fussy because the party just start at they sleep hour. -__-

Okay lets stop the chit chat and move to detailed about twin 3rd birthday party. So this year I decided not to celebrate the birthday with big party, just celebrate at home with us (hubby & me). I also make the dessert table on my own, except for the birthday cakes and cupcakes, I hope next birthday I can make it myself. I make the birthday and twin name flag banner, food and drink labels, cupcake topper, paper rosette for the backdrop and paper bag just for decoration.

I don't have special theme just using twin favorite color which is blue and red. This is my very first dessert table so forgive me if it just too simple. I prepared it just around a month before, I make it every time I have some spare time. 

The table is too small for the dessert table, I should use the longer and taller table. But it's urgent you know. I don't have a time to find another table before the birthday. I will prepare better dessert table next year. ^^

This is the birthday cake, the base is layer cake with strawberry jam covered with fondant. It have blue and red color, the twin favorite color. It decorated with 2 boys with plane and car behind them. If you look carefully at the cake you will notice the cake is tilt to the side like Pisa Tower. ^__^

But I can't complain because I don't make the cake and I buy it quite expensive. I have to quite satisfied with the result as long the cake not wrecked. I hope next year I can make the birthday cake on my own, I still learning right now.  

The birthday and twin name flag banner made with Microsoft Powerpoint. You also can make it with Adobe Photoshop or Corel. I'm just using the easy and simple tool. I made the birthday flag banner with triangle shape and the twin name with round shape. After I print it, just attached it with some white ribbon.

The cupcake topper, milk label, chocolate label, food and drink label I made online at Picmonkey. It is free online photo editing. Editing your photos is easy with Picmonkey. Add filters, frames, text and effects with this free online editing tool.

The paper rosette made from hard paper with blue and red color. For the large paper rosette I use 4 pieces of paper fold horisontally, the medium use 3 pieces of paper fold vertically and the smallest use 3 pieces of half paper fold vertically. This the most tiring job for me because I have to fold the paper then attach the paper with glue.

 This is the birthday boy. Happy 3rd Birthday My Twin, Raphael Christian Prastyo & Gabriel Christian Prastyo. May your birthday be filled with everything happy and everything you've ever dreamed! Mommy & Daddy love both of you to the moon & back. Lots of loves, hugs and kisses.
